UPDATE:
In Cumberland County, police are calling a man's disappearance suspicious.
Monday night, investigators are searching for David Lee Hoke, who has been missing since Friday.
CBS 21 went to Hoke's house and spoke with his fiancé.
David Hoke’s car was found Friday night near the Middletown boat landing. The keys were still in the ignition, the car still turned on. But there was no sign of David Hoke.
Monday afternoon, we went to David Hoke’s house in Upper Allen Township. His fiancé Samantha Seger and Hoke’s young son were home and Seger invited us in.
"He's got a new hobby with metal detecting and he's been doing it pretty often, over the last week anyhow. That's where he said he was going. He never came back."
Hoke’s fiancé tells us that was Friday afternoon, and says the metal detector was not recovered.
In the midst of researching Hoke’s suspicious disappearance, it's difficult not to be suspicious of Hoke.
Hoke was arrested last October on three misdemeanors for threatening a neighbor. According to his fiancé, he has a history of disappearing.
Seger says he did not have a cell phone and explains this is out of character for the David Hoke she knew.
"It's completely out of character. He would never leave us, never. Call the Police if you've seen him,” Seger pleaded. We need him home."
Anyone with information about Hoke’s whereabouts or disappearance should call Middletown Borough Police at 717-558-6900.
