Another street closed Wednesday afternoon in Harrisburg due to water problems, but this time there is some good news for the city, it is not their fault.

A  break to the fire line of D&H Enterprises on North 7th Street caused the water leak.

Work continues, to repair the fire line break to this large distribution facility and 7th Street remains closed between Radnor and Schuylkill Streets and it still may be some time before the road is reopen to traffic.

It has been a tough year for the infrastructure in Harrisburg.  We talked to residents on both the north and south sides of where the break happened.  They say the water to their homes is working, and they weren't having any problems.

The fire line that goes into D&H Enterprises cracked, causing quite a bit of water to cover the street.

The company released a statement and is taking responsibility for the repairs saying it is not the city's fault. "The issue outside our offices were not a water main break, it was a break in the fire line. It is company responsibility and we have a repair company en route. It is not the type of event that could be identified ahead of time. The good news is the building has functioning water and it was not a more major event."

Mayor Linda Thompson also says this time, it's not the responsibility of the city to fix.  "There fire line pipe burst, so they got their own contractor up their and hey are working on mitigating and resolving the issue."

No representatives for D&H would go on camera or let us film inside, but we were told even with the break, the fire lines in the huge building are pressurized and are operable.  They also said the building has functioning water and it was not the kind of event that could be identified ahead of time.

The company is not sure what has caused the break.

Crews expect the road to be closed the rest of the day Wednesday.
