The North Middleton Township Police Department is searching for a man they say harassed his ex-girlfriend and then hid in her attic with a hunting knife.
On Tuesday, Police were called to a home in the 1800 block of Sterretts Gap Avenue for a report of a burglary. The victim told police she came home and was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend through text messages.
Police say the woman noticed the attic roof hatch was open slightly, and when she went to investigate she found her ex boyfriend in the attic crawl space. The victim told police he was holding a hunting knife.
Police say the suspect, Windsor J. Morda, 27, fled the scene before they arrived and he continued to harass the victim with text messages while police were on the scene.
The woman is staying at another home until Morda is arrested, because she fears for her safety.
Police are still looking for Morda. He is described as a white male, who has been known to live in the first block of White Oak Drive, Carlisle. He is wanted for felony charges of burglary and criminal trespass. He is also wanted for misdemeanor charges of stalking, simple assault, and harassment.
Morda is currently out on bail on a separate assault against the same victim.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Morda, call the North Middleton Township Police at 717-243-7910.
