The Northwest Regional Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Holiday Inn Express.
Officers were called to the hotel, at 147 Merts Drive, Elizabethtown, on Monday around 8:20 for a reported robbery.
Witnesses told officers a male went into the lobby of the hotel and gave a handwritten note to the front desk clerk telling the clerk to empty the register.
Police say the clerk told the man there was no money at the hotel and the man left in a gray blue Chevrolet Cobalt.
The clerk described the suspect as a male of an unknown race, who was around 5'5" to 5'8" tall and weighed between 150 and 180 pounds.
Police say the man did not take any money from the Holiday Inn Express. There were no injuries and the man did not display a weapon.
