Over the weekend, members of the Lancaster City Bureau of Police teamed up with Lancaster County Probation and 20 agents from the PA State Parole and Probation Board to conduct checks of downtown bars.
During the checks, officials found 20 people who were either on State or County Probation/Parole. All of the individuals were taken from the bars. Some were directed to their case agents on Monday. Four people were taken into custody at the time.
Two of the individuals were remanded to temporary housing facilities per the conditions of their parole and one was taken back to Camp Hill State Correctional Institution.
The other person was found in possession of over 260 grams of Marijuana and $1,000 cash. Police identified this man as Harrison Nixon III, 32, of 1600 block of Manor Boulevard, Manor Township.
Nixon was charged with possession and possession with intent to deliver marijuana. He was arraigned and bail was set at $10,000 cash. He was taken to Lancaster County Prison.
