A man faces charges after he couldn’t get American cheese or salt and pepper on his subs.
The incident took place on February 21 at 150 a.m. A black man, approximately six feet tall, entered Jimmy John’s on North Second Street.
The man ordered a sub and asked for American cheese. Employees said they didn’t have American cheese.
The suspect got angry and called them racist because they didn’t have American cheese. The man then ordered a second sub and asked for salt and pepper, which the manager also said they did not have.
Again he called the manager racist for not having salt and pepper.
The suspect attempted to get behind the counter where the employees were working. He was stopped by an employee and then wheeled around a spit in the face of the manager.
The man was accompanied by a black lady and two other black men. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Paula Trovy at 717-255-3158.
