Amtrak officials say they are expecting normal schedules following Wednesday's snow storm.
Amtrak released this statement:
"Amtrak continues to closely watch the winter storm as it moves across the Northeastern United States. Amtrak is operating a regular schedule with the following adjustments:
Northeast Regional Trains 171 and 176 are canceled between Washington, D.C., and Lynchburg, Va., with no alternate transportation. The trains will operate as scheduled north of Washington, D.C.
Cardinal (Chicago to New York) Train 50 originating on March 5 is canceled between Huntington, W.Va., and New York, with no alternate transportation. Cardinal Train 51 originating on March 6 is canceled between and Washington, D.C., and Huntington, W.Va., with no alternate transportation.
Amtrak will continue to monitor the storm and provide updates as necessary."
