Hot-air balloon gets tangled in power lines

PARADISE, Pa. (AP) — A hot-air balloon that became entangled in power lines knocked out electrical service to a few dozen customers in central Pennsylvania but no injuries were reported.

Paradise fire Chief Pat Cosgrove says the balloon landed about two miles away from where it became tangled on Sunday morning. No one on board was injured.

A witness told the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era (http://bit.ly/P4xQ0B ) that a broken power line remained briefly stuck on the balloon as it rose over his house in Paradise Township, Lancaster County around 7:30 a.m.

Utility workers had service restored to customers around by 1 p.m.
