Police have released the name of the man killed in the lawn mower accident on Thursday. John Sylvanus Yost, 71 of Gap, was killed Thursday.
The accident is being classified as just that, an accidental death involving a lawn mower.

A 71-year-old was killed when the lawn mower he was riding crushed him on Thursday.
The man owned the Spring Leaf Farm, which is where the accident took place, but did not live there.
His wife called police concerned after she did not see him all day. When police arrived to the farm, which is near the corner of Snake Road and Old Philadelphia Pike in Salisbury Township, the man was found dead.
The man, who performs maintenance on the property as the owner, was riding a zero-turn radius mower when the accident occurred.
No autopsy is scheduled at this time.
