UPDATE:
The following statement was issued by Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati and Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi on the death of Ryan Brubaker:
On behalf of our entire Senate family, we extend our deepest sympathy to Mike, Cindy and their children on the death of their son, Ryan.
The loss of a child is an unfathomable tragedy, and there are no words that can adequately express the sadness we feel for the Brubaker family.
Mike is a man of deep faith and a father who loves his family unconditionally. We know that his profound strength and character will help guide him during this heartrending time.
We consider Mike a true friend, and ask that you keep the Brubaker family in your thoughts and prayers for the days and weeks to come.
