Arrest in theft of $1,800 in jewelry

        Carroll Township Police charged Nathan Douglas Murphy, 23, with one count of theft by unlawful taking. 

      The charges come from a theft of jewelry report on August 31, in the 200 block of Autumn Woods Drive,  which valued in $1,800.00. Most of the jewelry has been recovered. 

        
       Police say Murphy lives on the same block and is in the York County Prison.
