UPDATE:
Police in Harrisburg have arrested a man who tried to rob a bar, but patrons stopped him in his tracks.
Police say 21-year-old Jordon Wilkerson had a knife and was high on drugs when he tried to steal cash at the Olympic Lounge on Derry Street.
The manager pulled a silent alarm, but before police arrived the crowd made sure Wilkerson didn't leave.
“People were fearful he was going to try and run off and never be caught, so they started attacking him,” explained bar manager John Struck. “I seen the attack, I come out and start helping them out. I definitely think he learned his lesson. When he comes down off of whatever it is that he was on, he's definitely going to wake up with a headache and definitely going to realize maybe I shouldn't have tried to rob that place, maybe I should have tried to get a job like everyone else in this world.”
Wilkerson was taken to an area hospital for injuries. He has been charged with robbery.
