Kids and coffee may not mix - but The Playhouse Café in Lemoyne, Cumberland County is the perfect mix of activities for moms and dads and kids.
You can pack up the tots and unload them in the tot lot and playroom and then you can take a load off while attendants like christian hold down the fort.
And Playroom Attendant is one of the positions open at the café.
Anyone 16 years or older with the proper state clearances is encouraged to apply.
The other position is Imaginative Program and Resources Coordinator.
And folks with a Teaching, Early Elementary Child Care or Psychology background would work well for this job.
General Manager, Liz LaForme says, "for any stay at home parent who wants to remain active, working with children while they're at home, but what we would like is to start coordinating some programs with local talent in the area, art, music and theatre to start offering classes for our season pass holders."
Obviously a love of children is required to work here, but you also need to have as much energy as a 2 year old, and they haven't even had coffee.
LaForme says, "we like outgoing personalities and also anyone who can bring a child into this environment and out of their shell cause it's really important at the end of the day to have a child smile when they leave.
You can apply in person at The Playhouse Cafe, located at 1 Lemoyne Square Plaza or email Larissa York at larissayork@comcast.net
