Spring Garden Police are investigating two incidents that occurred last week.
On Friday around 315 p.m., they were called to the 800 block of Lancaster Avenue for a theft from an automobile. The victim reported that her wallet was missing from her purse, which was left inside her car overnight.
On Saturday just after 1210 p.m., police were called to the Quick Six Mart in the 1200 block of Mt. Rose Avenue for a passed counterfeit bill that was passed earlier that week.
An employee told police the #100 bill was passed off for merchandise and was tested, but came back to be a valid bill. However, when it was taken to the bank it was determined to be counterfeit.
The man who passed the bill was a heavy set black male, wearing a bright green shirt and a baseball hat.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call Spring Garden Township Police.
