A must for the thrill seeking tourists in Gettysburg this week is a ghost tour. CBS 21 tagged along with the original haunted attraction, The Ghosts of Gettysburg.

The Ghosts of Gettysburg is the oldest tour in town, owned and operated by author, historian, and paranormal investigator Mark Nesbitt.  Tourists flock their every year hoping to get a glimpse of the battlefield's past in a first-hand experience ghost tour, but what's really frightening is what the employees have seen.

"I was walking through the this room and when I got through the door, out of the corner of my eye I saw a tall, dark shadow."  Staff member Katie Butcher shared her ghost story.  She isn't the only one who has seen something scary in The Ghosts of Gettysburg's walls.  The building is almost 200 years old, and was used as a Confederate field hospital during the Battle of Gettysburg.  Katie adds, "We've had some psychics come through here and say there is an old soldier who lives in this room who kind of keeps watch over the building."

Ghost Tour Guide Sandy Kime says there is a little boy ghost named William who died in the house of pneumonia shortly after the battle. "Sometimes at night you'll hear marbles or boy's toys rolling around on the floor," she says.

The paranormal job hazards won't keep these tour guides from telling you Gettysburg's most haunted stories.  Sandy says, "Every time I saw the history and what happened here I'm still amazed every time I say it."
