Authorities are investigating the death of a woman who was found inside a burning home Friday afternoon, officials said.
Firefighters were dispatched around 5 p.m. for a report of smoke on the second floor of a home in the 100 block of Quarry View Drive in the Pennwood Farms development of Caernarvon Twp., Berks Co.
The first crews to arrive on the scene found smoke throughout the home and small fire in the master bedroom on the second floor, police said.
