Cumberland County Commissioners announced Monday they are in the process of enacting a wage freeze for all County employees.
The County faces a $9.8 million budget shortfall for 2013.
Commissioners also call for no Cost of Living Allocation increase for non-union employees, a change to health insurance programs and a review of whether or not the open positions in the county need to be filled.
The Commissioners will face the same wage freeze themselves, and have asked for fellow elected County employees to follow their lead.
