15 dogs are resting nicely Thursday night after being rescued from a breeder in western Pennsylvania.

A Tail to Tell is responsible for the rescue. The dogs were all small, under 15-20 pounds. Now each one has a second chance at life.

The dog rescue group A Tale to Tell says breeders sometimes release unwanted dogs to rescue groups.

We know these dogs came from a farm in western Pennsylvania but in order to keep a working relationship with the breeder and keep future dogs alive the rescue group can't say exactly were the dogs came from

Each dog will now be assessed by a veterinarian and a groomer will come in and bath them, clip their nails and clean their ears.

They will stay until a foster home or a forever home is located. A local dog groomer/boarder who is volunteering to help

“This is a second chance at life and that's what every dog we rescue has,” stated the groomer/boarder.

The dogs range in size from 10 to 20 pounds and include Fox Terrier breeds and Chinchilla breed.
