The man who helped spark the investigation into former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is speaking out.
Victim one is talking exclusively to People magazine.
18-year old Aaron Fisher told People magazine, "Saying sexual abuse has happened was hard. But I wanted to help people see that it is better to come forward and tell somebody than to be silent."
He's also giving victims of abuse advice, telling the magazine "make sure you don't give up on doing the right thing, because for every time you stay quiet, there's the person who did something to you, doing it to somebody else. Instead of being a victim, you can be a hero."
Victim one has since written a book about the horrifying experience that's expected to be released October 23. The People magazine article will hit stands next week.
