NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — The truck crash that closed part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike killed a veteran maintenance worker and left two others hospitalized.
Turnpike officials identified the worker killed in Monday's crash in suburban Philadelphia as 66-year-old Michael San Felice, of West Norriton. Investigators say an eastbound box truck struck Felice's maintenance vehicle.
The crash closed eastbound lanes for about six hours between Norristown and Valley Forge.
Two other maintenance workers were injured in the crash and transported to hospitals. Their conditions weren't immediately available.
