The Lebanon County Detective Bureau charged a Lebanon man after an investigation into the allegations of sexual abuse involving a female, who was between the ages of eight and 10 at the time of the alleged abuse.
It is alleged that between 1997-2000, John C. Rutter, Jr., residing in Lebanon, PA, subjected the female to unlawful sexual contact within his residence.
On October 18, 2012, a Criminal Complaint was filed before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Verna, charging Rutter with two counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault and Corruption of Minors.
Rutter was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Verna, who set bail at $200,000. Rutter was unable to post bail and was committed to the Lebanon County Prison.
