On Sunday, police found a 31-year-old woman who was an obvious victim of an assault walking in the 4200 block of Gettysburg Road.
She was taken to the hospital for evaluation and determined she was staying at a local hotel with Russell Roemer Sr. Roemer, 44 and last known to be staying with friends in Mechanicsburg, was not at the room when police arrived.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest, charging him with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.
