UPDATE:

Kevin Cleeves is waking up in the Franklin County Jail this morning.

Officials brought him back from Ohio yesterday.

He was held without bail at his arraignment last night.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CBS 21 has obtained the criminal affidavit filed against Kevin Mathew Cleeves by MDJ Larry Pentz.

The incident occurred at 7705 Anthony Highway in Waynesboro, Quincy Township, which is where one of the victims lived.  He was headed to Michigan when he was apprehended by police in Austintown.

As mentioned earlier, he faces three charges of criminal homicide for the shooting deaths of Brandi K. Cleeves, Vincent L. Santucci II and Rosemary Holma.

The shootings took place in the driveway of 7705 Anthony Highway and police were notified after numerous gunshots were heard in the area around 9 p.m.  Police arrived and confirmed there were three victims of gunshot wounds.

Just after 11 p.m., Sgt. Frank Mraz of Michigan State Police contacted the officer on the case and informed him that Cleeves had contacted his family in Eaton Rapids, MI and admitted the shootings.  The officer interviewed the family that Cleeves had called, who said that Cleeves called around 955 p.m.

Cleeves told his family that he was drinking and was mad.  He had called Brandi Cleeves to arrange to pick up his daughter, but she would not pick up the phone.

He went to Santucci's house to pick up his daughter, Leia.  Cleeves explained that Santucci told him that Leia was his daughter and told him to get off the property and an argument ensued.

Cleeves told his aunt that he then shot Santucci.  Then Brandi Cleeves jumped out of the car and he shot her as well.  Santucci's mother then came running out of the home and he shot her too.  Cleeves then told his aunt that he took his daughter and fled the scene.

The entire affidavit is attached.
