On Friday, October 19, 2012, around 2:20am, West Shore Regional Police Department was called to the rear of 1105 Yverdon Drive, for a report of two men trying to steal from a vehicle. The witness told police the men were carrying the tires from a car and running behind the building.
When officers arrived in the area a few minutes later, they saw the men carrying the tires and running north around the building. The officers found all 4 tires dropped at the end of the building.
While searching the area, they found a Anthony James Ridley, in the stairwell of 1105 Yverdon Drive.
Ridley,from the 3200 block of Green Street in Harrisburg, was arrested and charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking.
The second male involved as not been positively identified.
Ridley was taken to the Cumberland County Prison where he was processed and his bail was set at $35,000.00.
