The York County Office of Emergency Management is encouraging the community to report property damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.
Information reported will be used to gauge the impact of the storm on the county and help determine whether the state/county may become eligible for federal aid. It will also be used to determine what, if any, measures can be taken to reduce the impact of future storms.
Individuals with property damage can report it online by visiting the county’s website at http://yorkcountypa.gov. Navigate to the Office of Emergency Management and click on the “Damage Reporting” link.
People without internet access should report damage to their municipality.
