UPDATE:
According to Southwestern Regional Police, Rt. 116 north of Spring Grove Borough and Rt. 216 in Manheim Twp are now open.
Rt 616 at the North Codorus/West Manchester Twp border is still closed, as is the Bridge on West College Ave and the one on Indian Rock Dam Road. The northern side of York New Salem Borough is still flooded.
Days Mill Road at Markle Road should be re-opened in the next hour or so. Temporarily closed due to a tree down on wires.

Several roads remain closed because of Sandy, which includes some in York County. Many state roads are still closed, especially ones with bridges.
They’ll stay that way until PennDOT crews can inspect them and give them the ok. Near the Indian Rock Dam here in York County, there are several roads shut down.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are releasing water at the Indian Rock Dam. Levels are dropping about a half foot per hour.
That means nearby areas are flooded, so roads need to remain shut down. Signs are in place to mark the closings.
Motorists traveling the area are asked to avoid the following roads.
-Rt. 616 between Route 30 and the New Salem square
-Indian Rock Dam Road, between Markle and Days Mill Roads
-Route 182, between Indian Rock Dam and Days Mill Roads
-Parts of Woodberry Road and Route 182.
Police were out ticketing drivers Wednesday morning who were avoiding the road closed signs.
It’s not yet clear just how soon these roads will reopen
