PennDOT inspection crews have checked out the bridge that carries Route 74 over the Little Conewago Creek in Dover Township, York County, and have given their okay to reopen it. The bridge was reopened to traffic at around 10:30 this morning. It had been closed since 8:30 on Monday evening, October 29, due to flooding associated with Hurricane Sandy. Inspection crews needed to wait until flood waters had receded sufficiently to allow a visual inspection of the bridge.
