The Cumberland County District Attorney says the investigation into the suspicious disappearance of a 53-year-old Silver Spring Township woman. David Freed says he just learned that police are conducting a new records review.
Rabihan Seiders was first reported missing to Silver Spring Township Police on March 27. It was just three weeks ago that police announced foul play could be involved.
That resulted in the response of the FBI's Evidence Response Team and the active participation of the district attorney.
Three months after being reported missing, federal agents and local police swarmed her secluded home on Willow Mill Park Road. Evidence markers were seen outside the home. Agents with shovels were digging.
Evidence was collected and sent to the FBI laboratory at Quantico, Virginia for analysis. Rabihan was last seen at home, but has been known to travel to the Jersey shore.
The county District Attorney says the investigation is active.
Seiders husband, Hap, has an extensive criminal history. He has spent much of his life in and out of state and federal prison.
He has been convicted of blowing up a Harrisburg building and trading counterfeit coins. The District Attorney says police are not looking for him.
Neighbors told us that Seiders seemed to be restricted to her property. She would walk to the property line and no further to speak to neighbors. It wasn't until her husband was in prison that she was seen leaving the property.
