Officials in Dauphin County are getting everything ready for Tuesday's Election.
On the Monday before Election Day, polling places aren't exactly hopping with activity. But as you can imagine, preparation, especially at the county level is key to everything running smoothly.
Voting machines sit in Dauphin County's designated polling places, folded up but are ready to go. All 529 of them, and despite two poll workers taking emergency leave today, Steve Chiavetta, Director of Dauphin County Board of Elections assures they've been replaced and every machine will be manned.
Chiavetta also explained that since the last presidential election several of the county's polling places have changed, he's notified residents, some even twice to avoid any confusion. By 7 am Tuesday, he says, they're good to go.
