Sunday evening just before 9 p.m., police were called to Tower Drive in Dover Township for a robbery.
The 18-year-old victims reported that they picked up two men at the corner of Tower Drive and Carlisle Road. Once the two men were in the back seat, the driver started heading west.
As the driver operated the car, one of the people they picked up asked him to turn down a gravel driveway. When the driver asked why, the two men they had picked up pulled out guns and demanded money and belongings from the male and female victims.
The female got out of the car and tried to escape, but was confronted by two men in ski masks.
The driver suffered a cut on his throat during the incident.
The victims went to a nearby convenience store and called 911. They were able to identify the two suspects that were in the car as Tyshawn Anderson, 17 of Dover Township and Devoid Williams, 18 and also of Dover Township.
Anderson and Williams were arrested around 130 a.m. and arraigned. Both were charged as adults with robbery, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
Police are in the process of confirming the identities of the two men driving ski masks and expect to make additional arrests.
