Manheim Township Police have charged people several different burglaries that occurred in the Township, along with investigating several other cases.
1) Burglary, 12:25 p.m. November 6, 2012, 1300 Block Country Club Drive (MT) – At 12:25 p.m. Nov 6, 2012, a resident of the 1300 Block of Country Club Drive returning home found two white males inside of the residence. The suspects fled to a white sedan that was parked nearby and were last seen heading towards New Holland Ave. Nothing was taken.
2) Public Drunkenness, 11:30 p.m. November 6, 2012, 900 Block North Queen Street (MT) – Luis A. Perdomo M/61, No Address, was cited for Public Drunkenness after he was found sleeping on the sidewalk in the 900 Blk of North Queen St at 11:30 p.m. Nov 6, 2012.
3) Burglary – Criminal complaints have been filed against Miguel A. Saldana Jr. M/21 of South Lime St, Lancaster, and Rolando Bristol Jr. M/21 of East End Ave, Lancaster. At 3:27 a.m. July 11, 2010, the Village Boutique, 14 Meadow Lane, was burglarized after a window was broken to gain access. Merchandise valued at $1,875 was taken. At 1:13 a.m. November 17, 2011, the T-Mobile Store, 250 Granite Run Dr, was burglarized after a window was broken to gain access. Over $4,000 worth of merchandise was taken. Forensic evidence identified Saldana as a suspect in both burglaries. Forensic evidence also identified Rolando as a suspect in the T-Mobile burglary. Saldana has been charged with two counts of Burglary, two counts of Theft, two counts of Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Conspiracy. Rolando was charged with one count of each of the same charges. The complaints were filed before MDJ David Miller.
4) Burglary – An additional person has been charged in connection with the October 10, 2012, burglary of a residence in the 2000 Blk of Wynfield Dr. As previously released, at 12:24 p.m. Oct 10, 2012, a homeowner confronted a male who was exiting his residence carrying a backpack and computer. After a brief altercation, the suspect fled on foot. Cory D. Brkopac was apprehended nearby by responding police officers. Investigators learned that Brkopac had gained entrance to the residence by using the garage door code that had been provided to him by Kiersten B. Keiser F/20 of Dahlia Dr, Lancaster. Keiser, who was acquainted with the family who lived there, went with Brkopac to the residence and provided him with the layout. On November 6, 2012, Keiser was charged with Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Conspiracy. She was arraigned and released on $20,000 unsecured bail.
5) Criminal Mischief, 1:50 a.m. November 7, 2012, 1400 Block Passey Lane (LT) – A resident of the 1400 Blk of Passey Lane reported that their door was damaged by somebody kicking it at 1:50 a.m. Nov 7, 2012. Loss $300.
6) Retail Theft, 2:00 p.m. November 6, 2012, 1256 Millersville Pike (LT) – Two Hispanic males left Radio Shack, 1256 Millersville Pike, without paying for merchandise valued at $120 at 2:00 p.m. Nov 6, 2012.
7) Burglary – A criminal complaint has been filed against James B. Jones Jr. M/44 of Columbia Ave, Lancaster. On June 11, 2012, a resident of the 400 Block of North President Ave reported that entry was made to their residence by forcing open a door. Forensic evidence identified Jones as a suspect. He has been charged with Burglary and Attempted Burglary. The complaint was filed before MDJ Sponaugle.
8) Burglary – Juvenile complaints have been filed against four juvenile males, ages 15 and 16, following an investigation into a residential burglary that occurred in the 500 Blk of Conestoga Blvd in September 2011. Firearms, jewelry, and cash were taken. Forensic evidence assisted in the identification of the suspects, who have all been charged with Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Conspiracy.
