The Silver Spring Twp Police Deptment was dispatched to the Mechanicsburg Target for a retail theft on November 10.
Officers were told a female suspect was in custody. When officers arrived they were told another suspect was also involved but left the store.
Erin Johnson of Elizabethtown and Gage Washington of Hummelstown were found with merchandise totaling $623.86.
After an investigation it was learned that Johnson and Washington had been committing retail theft at various local Target stores. Those thefts occurred approximately one week before they were arrested.
The total amount taken from all the thefts valued at $2,712.76.
Johnson and Washington were taken to the Cumberland County Prison booking center for processing.
