Pennsylvanians are getting ready to hit the road, or already have, for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

A million and a half driver say they plan to travel this Holiday season.

Local resident Donna Kinslow is getting ready to hit the road for Thanksgiving, "I'm heading to my sons in Bethlehem." But she says she's far from thankful for the price at the pump, she's not letting gas prices halt her plans.  "It's not really stopping me this time, but I understand it's an issue, I mean it costs me $50 now to fill up."

AAA predicted 1.6 million drivers would travel 50 miles or more for the Holiday, but that was before Superstorm Sandy kicked up prices.

For some people, like Kelly Glaeser, the prices just added up too much. "We usually make tours on Holidays.  Visit family in Baltimore, but that's just not gonna happen this year. Maybe for Christmas, I'd love to see my family, but gas is very high."

Pennsylvania's average price per gallon is now about $.20 higher than the national average.

Frank Benson said he is driving about 80 miles to see family, he says no price per gallon could change his Holiday plans.  "For anything for that matter, Thanksgiving is important, but you just can't live your life by the price of gas."
