Middlesex Township Police are searching for Gary Lee Sherman Jr, of Carlisle, on charges of fleeing and eluding, four counts of recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief, driving while suspended, accidents involving damage to unattended property, and driving without inspection.
On Nov 20th, an officer spotted Gary Sherman driving a bluish/green sedan which had expired inspection. When the officer turned on his emergency lights Sherman sped up at a high rate of speed and turned into a person’s yard where several people, including children, were outside.
Sherman then knocked down a fence in the yard and continued through the yard until he fled in an unknown direction. The officer immediately discontinued following Sherman when he drove into the yard.
Investigation revealed the identity of Gary. His last known address is on Locust Way in Carlisle. He frequents the truck stops and cells CB radios from his vehicle.
Anyone seeing Sherman should call police.
