UPDATE: Crews find missing older man deceased in the woods

UPDATE:

Police have told CBS 21 that they found 81-year-old Miles Seachrist late Wednesday evening, but he has passed away.

Seachrist was last seen around noon, and was not at home when his daughter stopped by the house around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Search and rescue crews from Halifax, Linglestown, Susquehanna Township and State Police, as well as State Police helicopters were searching for Seachrist.  In all, around 15 ATVs and 30 people were involved in the search.

According to State Police Corporal Sebastian, a helicopter came in using both lights and also heat-sensing technology, but was unable to find anything to aid in the search.

However, crews on ATVs found Sebastian shortly after the helicopter left the area.  He was found in a heavily wooded area.

Initial reports indicate he suffered an injury and was unable to make his way back out of the mountain.

The Dauphin County Coroner is headed to the scene at this time.
