A large shed destroyed by a fire this weekend in South Middleton Township has been rule accidental.
The fire started in the 1700 Block of Walnut Bottom Road, South Middleton Township on Sunday.
Officials determined the fire started from hot ashes from a fireplace that were dumped next to the shed earlier in the day.
Fire officials are urging residents to use caution, ashes can retain heat for several days and should be disposed of properly.
Even when ashes appear to be cool, they can still retain heat and become a problem on a windy day.
