One woman was helped out of her burning home by a neighbor on Thursday evening in Hampden Township.
The fire started around around 535 p.m. at an apartment at 4714 East Trindle Road.
When fire crews arrived, the woman who was trapped inside was being helped out a window by her neighbor. She was conscious and was taken to the hospital, her extent of injuries or burns is unknown at this time.
The fire started in the back of the house and was put out quickly, and most of the damage was from smoke and water.
There were reports that animals were inside, however firefighters did not find any animals.
