Lebanon City Police investigating early morning gunfire

Lebanon City Police were dispatched in the early morning hours on November 30, to the 1100 Block of Mifflin Street for a report of shots fired.


When police arrived, they found a parked vehicle that had been shot by gunfire.  One of the rounds went through the car and struck a home.  The car was not occupied at the time of the shooting and nobody was injured during the gunfire.

 

Preliminary investigation determined that suspects intentionally shot the parked car.  The car is registered to a LebanonCounty owner however the car displayed a dealer tag for a YorkCounty business. Omar Santagio-Marte, 31, from Lebanon did respond to the scene to take ownership/responsibility for the car. 


Santiago-Marte is currently out on bail from an incident on November 20, where he was charged with illegally possessing two handguns.  The handguns were located under the seat of the truck he was operating.  

 

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Dept or Crime Stoppers.
