Joshua Markelwitz, 26, of Enola, was arrested Friday after an intensive investigation, according to Lower Paxton Township Police.
Police say a 15-year-old girl told them Markelwitz had sexual contact with her beginning when she was 12-years-old. She alleges Markelwitz sexually abused her at her home, in his car, and a township church, where he was involved with youth programs.
Markelwitz faces numerous charges, among them rape of child and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child. Markelwitz is in Dauphin County Prison on $750,000 bail.
