The search for Kortne Stouffer is ramping up as the days since she went missing continues to grow. Wednesday night, a friend shares a regret from the night Kortne was last seen and the District Attorney defends his department's response.

The reward is now at more than $25,000 thanks to the community. Her family says they won’t stop until she is found.

150 tie dye t-shirts sold in 20 minutes Wednesday. "Help Find Kortne" shirts filled the Grantville Holiday Inn Wednesday.

The Stouffer family refuses to slow the hunt for their 21-year-old daughter. Billboards are up, businesses are pitching in and boosting the reward money to over $25,000.

Now, more friends are revealing details about the weekend she was last seen.

“She just looked angry as she was walking by, she wasn’t throwing fists or anything,” stated high school friend Jessica Leaton. Leaton said a verbal fight at a Harrisburg bar caused Kortne to either get thrown out or storm off.

“She’s not an angry person so it might not be serious for her, its not like her to throw a fit in public,” Leaton continued.

In the early hours of Sunday July 29th, police were called to Kortne's Palmyra apartment twice over an argument with neighbors. The first time they made contact, the second time they did not.

The next morning a man who spent the night left the apartment and claims he woke up but Kortne was gone.

Wednesday night, the attorney for the Stouffer’s criticized the District Attorneys use of resources.

“We have information that PA State Police has said they are available but haven’t been formally asked to help and they need that request,” stated Attorney Karl Rominger. “On behalf of the family I am asking that they reach out formally to PSP or give us an explanation why they haven’t”

District Attorney Dave Arnold defended his office's investigation and fired back to Karl Rominger's comments in a statement to us over the phone. Arnold said, "we've had assistance from State Police from the very beginning he {Karl Rominger} is doing a disservice to his client and his community and it's irresponsible. We have reached out to the FBI in terms of the resources they might have available. Every resource we have we have reached out to."
