UPDATE : Police find body of missing man Marcus Garner, treating investigation as homicide

Harrisburg police say the body of a man who'd been missing since around Thanksgiving was found inside of a garage Wednesday night.

A neighbor was taking out the trash and saw the body of 37-year-old Marcus Garner and then called police.

With last night's deadly shooting and now this, people who live in Harrisburg are definilty scared. Some are thinking of moving out.

At the 600 block of North 18th Street in Harrisburg, a Detective told Marcus Garner's family, they found his body.

37-year-old Garner had been missing since the day before Thanksgiving and police are now treating the investigation surrounding his death as a homicide.

Candice Woods lives near where Garner's body was found.  "This is a pretty quiet neighborhood like you'll hear stuff but I've never ever seen anything like this is crazy for this neighborhood usually quiet"

Another neighbor said, "Yeah it's scary, ya know it's scary we've been here almost 10 years and it's changed tremendously"

Police have not determined a cause of death. An autopsy will be done either Wednesday night or Thursday.

Police have confirmed a body found in Harrisburg, is the body of 37-year-old Marcus Garner, who has been missing since November 21. 

Police are investigating the death as a possible homicide.  The body was found in the 600 Block of North 18th Street.
