The Mayor for the City of York released information on the final leaf pick-up for the year.
Final pick-up will begin on December 17. All residents in the city must have their leaves raked out to the curb by 7 a.m. on that day. This will be the last leaf pick up of the year.
No brush, grass or branches is allowed to be mixed in with the leaves.
Also, York City requires residents with disabilities and disabled veterans to complete a renewal application each year to reserve their parking lots for people with disabilities.
Renewal letters will be sent out to all approved residents, the week of December 10. All renewals must be returned by March 5, 2013.
Handicap parking signs on City streets that are not registered after this date, and do not have the 2013 sticker on the sign will be removed by the City of York.
