An accident Monday evening just after 730 p.m. in Manor Township, Lancaster County took down live wires and caused power outages in the area.
Power was out at several intersections along Route 741 in Manor Township, which is near Millersville.
A vehicle struck a pole and brought down the wires in the area of a PPL substation, which is what caused over 2,000 people to be without power.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
