A man was stabbed several times on an ordinarily quiet street in Biglerville.
He later died at the hospital and his killer has not yet been charged.
Greggory Jackson, 30 of Taneytown, Maryland has been identified as the man who died.
Police say while no one has been charged; everyone involved has been identified and questioned.
State Police say the 30-year-old man showed up on Fourth Street in Biglerville around midnight. He went to a home and got into an argument with people there.
He was stabbed several times, flown to a York Hospital, but could not be saved. He was pronounced dead around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Marian Becker lives on the same block where the stabbing happened.
“We've never had anything happen on this street before, yeah it does worry me a little bit,” commented Marian Becker.
She says she's frequently outside at night. “I walk every night after dark, up and down block, everything is quiet,” Becker added. “I never see anybody shady around, I was shocked.”
No one has been arrested for the stabbing death yet, but police say they have talked to everyone involved.
Still. Becker wants to see this case solved, and fast.
“I'd say turn yourself in because it's a quiet town and all our neighbors watch out for one another,” warned Becker.
State Police stress this is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information should contact PA State Police.
