It's part of a literacy program and while she was there she also spoke with us about the Sandy Hook tragedy.
Every year, Scholastic donates 500 books to each of the First Ladies in the United States. From there, the First Ladies choose where the books go.
This time around, Susan Corbett chose a York City school.
She was greeted by eager students, which included second graders ready for story time. The First Lady did her part by encouraging them to read.
