Officials have announced the man involved in a more than eight-hour standoff with police in Harrisburg is dead.
After an intense exchange of gunfire, Abel Roman of Philadelphia, who is in his 20's, was found dead.
Police are still investigating exactly how Roman died.
Roman had warrants out of Philadelphia and the United States Marshals Service had been searching for him for a crime.
There have been conflicting reports about what he was wanted for, but it may include aggravated assault and attempted homicide.
A police officer is recovering this morning after getting shot in the hand.
We're told he's expected to be okay.
Hall Manor residents along row 13 were evacuated.
There's no word when they will be allowed back in their homes, because of the tear gas.
Police officers from all over, including York and Lancaster, the FBI and U.S. Marshals were trying to negotiate with Roman using a bullhorn, but it didn't work.
A robot was also sent into the home where Roman was alone, just minutes after police used tear gas cans.
The robot came out an hour later proved to police Roman was dead.
CBS 21's Kyle Rogers has been on the scene all night and say police sum up the incident as a firefight.
Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico tells CBS 21 News, "I would say this is definitely, the most shots fired at our officers, in 20 years, we haven't had a call out that entailed this much gunfire."
Forensic crews are still investigating this morning.
