BEAVER, Pa. (AP) — A former school van driver will spend five to 10 years in state prison on charges he molested two western Pennsylvania girls, then ages 7 and 8, in separate incidents on the van.
Fifty-five-year-old Earl Peacock, of Beaver Falls, didn't make a statement before he was sentenced Monday by Beaver County Judge John Dohanich who called Peacock a "pedophile" and says "he hasn't shown one bit of remorse or any responsibility for his actions."
Peacock pleaded no contest in October to two counts of aggravated indecent assault for the incidents last December and January.
Peacock was fired by Ferguson Transportation Jan. 12 after telling the 7-year-old girl that boys will try to make her lay down and pull down her underwear.
Police eventually determined that Peacock molested that girl and another Beaver Area School District student.
