On November 30, police were called to the McDonalds in the 300 block of Memory Lane in Springettsbury Township, for a reported assault.
When police arrived, a female employee told them Sean Varone, 35,was angry because an employee had accidentally put a piece of cheese on his hamburger.
Varone knocked over a trash can and threw a child's high chair before he left the store. The female employee followed him into the parking lot in an attempt to get a license plate number from his vehicle.
Once in the parking lot the suspect attacked the employee as she tried to call police. The male grabbed the female's cell phone and threw it across the parking lot and fled the scene.
The female also received an injury to her leg.
Varone was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.
