Manheim Township Police investigating stolen Christmas gifts, other incidents

Manheim Township Police are investigating the theft of Christmas gifts, among other incidents.

1) Theft, 12:30 p.m. December 21, 2012, 100 Block North Pointe Blvd (MT) – A Manheim woman reported that she was in a waiting room in the 100 Blk of North Pointe Blvd when a male asked to borrow her cell phone. He stepped outside with the phone and never came back. Loss $200.

2) Disorderly Conduct, 3:15 p.m. December 21, 2012, 1117 Harrisburg Pike (MT) – A citation for Disorderly Conduct was filed against Michael A. Contes M/22 of West James St, Lancaster, after he created a disturbance at Wendy’s, 1117 Harrisburg Pike, at 3:15 p.m. Dec 21, 2012.

3) Retail Theft, 3:03 p.m. December 23, 2012, 1360 Columbia Avenue (LT) – Todd A. Somerfield M/18 of Yardley Green, Lancaster, was cited for Retail Theft. He was observed leaving Giant, 1360 Columbia Ave, without paying for merchandise valued at $21 at 3:03 p.m. Dec 23, 2012.

4) Public Drunkenness, 3:46 a.m. December 23, 2012, 1100 Block Columbia Avenue (LT) – Ian R. Atkins M/28 of East Orange St, Lancaster, was cited for Public Drunkenness after he was observed walking in the roadway in the 1100 Blk of Columbia Ave at 3:46 a.m. Dec 23, 2012.

5) Theft from vehicle, December 20, 2012, 300 Block South West End Avenue (LT) – A Conestoga woman reported that Christmas gifts valued at $116 were taken from the back of her vehicle while it was parked in the 300 Blk of South West End Ave between 12:40 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. Dec 20, 2012. The rear hatch had inadvertently been left open when the theft occurred.
