The Northern York County Regional Police Department is investigating after a man and woman found a bullet hole in the ceiling of their home and a shell casing on their bed.
The couple lives in the 300 Block of Shady Dell Road, Jackson Township.
The man and woman had gone out on New Year's Eve and returned home around 9:30 pm. When they got home, they noticed a hole in the ceiling of their bedroom, as well as a spent shell casing on the bed.
Police believe a gun was shot in the air, maybe as a celebration for the upcoming New Year.
